Our Services...
There are a range of services available in our homes, including:
- Personal Services - We have a visiting chiropodist, hairdresser, dentist and optician; or if preferred, a resident may use their own. Individual clergy are also welcome.
- Specialist Diets - Great care is taken to ensure a varied menu that accounts for our residents' likes and dislikes. We can cater for special dietary needs and visitors are welcome to join their loved ones for meals on request.
- Nursing Care - Our nursing home has a team of carefully chosen nurses lead by a manager with many years' experience. There are trained staff available 24 hours a day who have the knowledge and expertise to provide a high level of nursing care.
- Visiting Specialists - We call on expert advice from clinical specialists such as the Macmillan nurses, diabetic nurse, tissue viability nurse, stoma nurse and the community physiotherapist. We have close communication with the local GP's who will visit any time at our request. We can also arrange domiciliary consultant visits through the GP.
- Extended Therapy - We have therapists who give diversion therapy, musical entertainment and reminiscence, which is both therapeutic and fun. Our nursing home also has two full time activities co-ordinators who work Monday-Friday.
- Social Activities & Trips - We have an increasingly varied social programme throughout the year which involves both residents and their relatives. At Christmas local choirs come to sing carols. Depending on the weather we have outings for the residents who are encouraged to suggest destinations.
- Visting - We have an open policy for visiting. Family and friends are always warmly welcomed and a cup of tea or light meals are always available.
Our Fees...
Our policy is to visit prospective residents in their home or hospital prior to admission so that the transition can be made smoothly and an accurate assessment of individual needs can be established.
The fees that we charge are indicative of the care needs of each individual resident. We accept funding from a variety of sources including the local authority, Kernow Care Commissioning Group, and private sources. We do not charge any upfront fees or deposits on admission.
Fees may need to be increased periodically, in order to cover increased costs rather than reduce standards. This will usually be reviewed annually and one month’s notice will be given prior to any changes.
Our starting fees:
- Tregenna - from £1000 per week
- Little Trefewha - from £600 per week
Fees cover the full range of services provided by the home 'in-house', including:
- Accommodation
- All meals
- Personal laundry services (Excluding dry cleaning)
- In-house entertainment
- The use of all facilities within the homes
Services and items not covered within a resident’s fees include, but are not limited to:
- Services not provided by tre’Care staff, e.g. hairdressing, massage therapy, etc.
- Toiletries
- Meals and drinks purchased during trips out of the home
